The Court of Cassation quashed a decision granting a divorce on the grounds of excesses, ill-treatment, or insults because the appellate court failed to legally establish that the husband's alleged conduct constituted a grave or repeated violation of marital duties and obligations as required by Article 232 of the Civil Code, even though the appellate court found the acts were unjustifiable by the husband's alleged lightheartedness and made cohabitation intolerable.
