Synthèse Legislator

Généré par l'IA

An independent worker appealed the rejection of his request to waive late payment penalties on his family allowance contributions, arguing his ignorance of his affiliation obligation and the exact amounts owed until a later notification, suggesting the administration's delay constituted force majeure and his good faith should be assessed at the time the contributions were originally due. The court rejected the appeal, affirming that the lower commission correctly determined the appellant, who had been working independently since 1964, could not seriously claim ignorance of the law to excuse failing to meet the legally fixed deadlines for contributions, and that the commission appropriately assessed the extent of his good faith when considering the late payment of arrears.
