The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal challenging the lower court's jurisdiction. The lower court had tried the case with a judge and notary, but a superior later issued an order requiring the notary to act only after the case was resolved. The court held that the lower court possessed jurisdiction at the time of the trial, and the subsequent order did not retroactively invalidate the proceedings or the initial jurisdictional basis.
