The Insurance Court overturned the Accident Board's decision to deny compensation for Reactive Airways Dysfunction Syndrome (RADS). The claimant worked in an ammonia leak zone for three hours, and expert testimony confirmed the air concentration was harmful, exceeding the one-hour threshold required for causation. The court ruled that since no other cause for the RADS was reliably demonstrated, the work-related exposure was the sole cause, thereby approving the claim.

A oli työskennellyt kolmen tunnin ajan lähimpänä ammoniakkivuotokohtaa.

Tämän vuoksi A:lla todettu RADS on korvattava työtapaturman aiheuttamana vammana. Tapaturmalautakunnan päätös kumottiin.
