The insurance court dismissed the claim for a YEL pension following the insured's death in April 1982. Although a pension was initially approved based on a February 1982 work assessment, the court found the insured's activity had not continued for the required four months during the coverage period. Consequently, the court ruled that the death during this gap caused the insurance coverage to lapse, invalidating the claim.
