Työntekijä oli pudonnut 2.75 m korkeilta metalliportailta lattialle oikealle kyljelleen menettäen tajuntansa. Hänellä todettiin aivotärähdys. Puolen vuoden kuluttua hän oli valittanut särkyä oikeassa olkapäässä, vaivaa oikean lapaluun seudussa ja hänen oikea olkapäänsä havaittiin roikkuvan alempana, minkä lisäksi olkavarren liikkeet olivat rajoittuneet. Hänet todettiin potevan oikean rintahermon halvausta, ulomman sahalihaksen halvausta, oikean lapaluun, hartian ja olkavarren liikevajausta. VAKO epäsi korvauksen rintahermon halvauksesta ja mainituista vaivoista. V -jaosto KKO 21.9.1983: Rintahermon halvaus, sen aiheuttama sahalihaksen heikkous ja siitä johtuva oikean lapaluun, oikean hartian ja olkavarren liikevajaus sekä tähän liittyvä olkapään särky olivat tapaturman seurauksina korvattavia.
