Perhe-eläkkeen perusteena oleva palkka oli yrityksen konkurssin takia jouduttu arvioimaan ja eläkepalkaksi saatu 3.848,98 mk/kk. Konkurssihallinnolta sittemmin saatujen palkkatietojen mukaan palkka oli kuitenkin ollut vain 1.573 mk/kk. Korjatut tiedot olivat käyneet ilmi leskelle uuden avioliiton johdosta maksettavaa kertasuoritusta määrättäessä. Eläkelaitoksen tekemästä purkuhakemuksesta perhe-eläkepäätöstä ei purettu.
