Ambulanssin kuljettajan todettiin ajaneen liikennesääntöjen vastaisesti. Menettelyä pidettiin kuitenkin vallinneet olosuhteet huomioon ottaen välttämättömänä, koska kuljetettavana oli vakavassa hengenvaarassa oleva tajuton lapsi. Kuljettaja jätettiin RL 3:10 nojalla rangaistukseen tuomitsematta.
