The Administrative Court of Finland allowed the taxpayer's appeal regarding the calculation of capital gains on shares inherited from a father. The taxpayer argued that a 20% minimum deduction from the transfer price should apply when calculating gains, but the court ruled otherwise. The court decided that the 20% deduction must be calculated from the actual purchase price or the assumed purchase price, not the transfer price, to align with the legislative intent of the inheritance tax exemption.
