Legislator summary

AI generated

The administrative court dismissed the application to continue involuntary psychiatric treatment for a minor because the decision was not submitted for approval within the statutory timeframe. Although the patient was admitted in 1999 and treatment continued, the decision to extend care was only forwarded to the court in December, well after the deadline. The court ruled that the failure to comply with the strict time limit rendered the continuation of treatment legally invalid.
