Shareholder denied building permit right; only the company may apply for permits under building regulations.
Legislator summary
AI generatedThe Administrative Court dismissed the shareholder's request to obtain a building permit for alterations to a property owned by a limited liability company. Although the shareholder held shares entitling them to manage a specific portion of the company's real estate, the court found no statutory basis for an individual to apply for a permit. Consequently, the court ruled that the right to seek a building permit belongs exclusively to the company itself, as the articles of association did not grant the shareholder this specific authority.

Lautakunnan on tämän vuoksi tullut jättää kiinteistöyhtiön osakkaan rakennuslupahakemus tutkimatta.
