Recusal requests targeting non-chamber judges; dispensation with reasoned rejection under § 93d Abs. 1 Satz 3 BVerfGG
Legislator-Zusammenfassung
KI-generiertThe Federal Constitutional Court rejected the applicants' constitutional complaints and dismissed their applications for the recusal of a judge as inadmissible, resulting in a final and unappealable decision against the complainants. The case involved ten consolidated constitutional complaints accompanied by recusal requests targeting specific members of the Federal Constitutional Court. The Court held that recusal requests concerning judges who are not members of the chamber responsible for the case do not require a decision, and it dispensed with a further substantive justification under § 93d Abs. 1 Satz 3 BVerfGG, thereby denying the applicants' claims.
