Asylum seeker's claim for further investigation rejected
Legislator-Zusammenfassung
KI-generiertThe applicant argued that a further investigation was necessary due to deficiencies in the initial interview. However, the Federal Council determined that additional investigative measures are only ordered when the initial interview fails to provide a sufficiently clear understanding of the facts, and the competent authority has significant discretion in this regard. Given that the applicant explicitly stated at the conclusion of the cantonal hearing that the record exhaustively detailed her grounds for asylum and that she had nothing further to add, the Federal Council found no clear violation of substantive or procedural law.
