Legislator-Zusammenfassung

KI-generiert

This case concerns a criminal matter where the applicant sought compensation for legal costs after partially succeeding on appeal. The Court declared the application inadmissible, reasoning that Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights, which guarantees the right to a fair trial and the presumption of innocence, does not create a right to reimbursement of costs for partial success unless the overall proceedings were rendered unfair, access to court was impeded, or an improper attribution of guilt occurred.
