Swiss Trademark Opposition Denied Due to Lack of Likelihood of Confusion
Legislator-Zusammenfassung
KI-generiertAn opposition was filed against the registration of a Swiss trademark based on an international registration. The opposition was rejected because the trademark examiner found no likelihood of confusion between the opposed mark and the earlier mark. The examiner determined that while both marks were for similar goods, the visual and phonetic differences, combined with the distinctiveness of the marks, were sufficient to distinguish them in the marketplace. Therefore, the opposition was denied.
