L’Assemblée fédérale de la Confédération suisse, vu le message du Conseil fédéral du 29 mai 20021, arrête:

I La loi fédérale du 9 mars 1978 sur la protection des animaux2 est modifiée comme suit:

Préambule vu les art. 25bis, 27sexies et 64bis de la Constitution3, ...

Art. 9, al. 1, 2e et 3e phrases

1 ... L’importation de viande kascher et de viande halal pour assurer un approvisionnement suffisant des communautés juives et musulmanes est réservée. Le droit d’importer et le droit d’acquérir cette viande est réservé aux membres de ces communautés ainsi qu’aux personnes morales et aux sociétés de personnes qui leur sont affiliées.

Art. 33a Protection des investissements Les bâtiments et installations destinés aux animaux de rente, qui ont été autorisés selon la présente loi, peuvent être utilisés, après la construction, au moins pendant la durée ordinaire d’amortissement.
