This Federal Council ordinance modifies a prior decision to extend the scope of the National Collective Labour Agreement for the Metal Trades. Specifically, it amends Article 2 by stipulating that the extended provisions concerning minimum working and salary conditions, as defined by federal law on posted workers, will now also apply to employers based in Switzerland but working outside the agreement's original geographic scope, and their employees, provided the work is performed within that scope. The competent bodies for overseeing these extended provisions are the joint commissions of the agreement. The ordinance also extends the application of minimum wage clauses and specifies entry into force dates and duration.
