L’Assemblée fédérale de la Confédération suisse, vu le rapport de la Commission de politique extérieure du Conseil national du 15 mai 20001, vu l’avis du Conseil fédéral du 4 décembre 20002, arrête:

I La loi fédérale du 4 octobre 1991 concernant la participation de la Suisse aux institutions de Bretton Woods3 est modifiée comme suit:

Préambule vu la compétence de la Confédération en matière d’affaires étrangères4, vu l’art. 39 de la constitution5, ...

Art. 2 Accords internationaux

1 Le Conseil fédéral est habilité à conclure des accords internationaux, dans les limites des crédits ouverts, concernant les augmentations de capital de la Banque internationale de reconstruction et de développement, de l’Association internationale de développement et de la Société financière internationale.

2 Avant de souscrire à des augmentations de capital en vertu de l’al. 1, le Conseil fédéral informe l’Assemblée fédérale.

3 La participation aux augmentations de capital du Fonds monétaire international est soumise à l’approbation de l’Assemblée fédérale.
