Delayed Justice Appeal Against Foreign Judicial Authority Dismissed for Lack of Jurisdiction
Sintesi Legislator
Generato dall'IAAn individual detained pending trial for attempted murder and other offenses filed a personal appeal alleging delayed justice against a foreign judicial authority. The court dismissed the appeal as inadmissible because it lacked jurisdiction to rule on the conduct of parties involved in the proceedings, such as the foreign authority, rather than on actions or omissions of the public prosecutor during the formal investigation; the court noted that any alleged misconduct by the foreign authority should be reported to the investigating magistrate, and procedural issues regarding pre-trial detention duration would be examined if formally raised under relevant articles of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
