Investigation Judge Denies Extension of Preventive Detention
Sintesi Legislator
Generato dall'IAThe Investigating Judge addressed motions from the Public Prosecutor requesting a one-month extension of the preventive detention for two accused individuals facing various criminal charges. The Judge reasoned that since a concurrent decision had rejected a related appeal concerning supplementary evidence, the formal investigation phase could now be concluded and notified to the parties, rendering the requests for further extension of custody—which were sought to complete the evidence-gathering—moot, as the remaining legal time frame would now permit filing the indictment and setting the trial date.
