Taxpayer Transportation Deduction Settlement
Sintesi Legislator
Generato dall'IAA taxpayer appealed an initial tax assessment that granted only a partial deduction for transportation expenses (fr. 3,250 instead of the requested fr. 6,480), having previously been denied a full deduction based on the availability of public transport, despite citing health reasons for needing a car. During the appeal hearing, the parties agreed to settle the matter by increasing the deduction to an average of fr. 4,000 annually, rendering further examination of the health-related arguments unnecessary; consequently, the court partially accepted the appeal, confirming the new deduction amount and waiving court fees and costs.
