Early Expungement of DUI Conviction Granted
Sintesi Legislator
Generato dall'IAThe court considered a request for the early expungement from the criminal record of a conviction for driving under the influence and traffic violations, which resulted in 15 days of detention (suspended for three years) and a fine. The court reasoned that the legal requirements for expungement were met because the applicant had served the detention and paid the fine, the sentence was under three months, the application was timely, and the Prosecutor General provided a favorable opinion while the applicant presented a certificate of good conduct. Therefore, the court ordered the conviction to be expunged from the criminal record, subject to the applicant paying the associated court fees and expenses.
