Legal Aid Recipient's Counsel Entitled to Direct Award of Attorney's Fees

In a civil procedure matter concerning the award of legal costs to a party receiving free legal aid, the court held that the attorney's fee compensation payable by the opposing party should be awarded directly to the counsel providing the free legal assistance for the (mostly) successful party, allowing the counsel to assert the claim in their own name, consistent with Article 122 of the Civil Procedure Code, a principle also reflected in prior cantonal law, to impose court costs on the unsuccessful opposing party and order reduced attorney's fees to the successful applicant's counsel.
