Vu la décision sur opposition du 17 juillet 2020 du service des prestations complémentaires (ci-après le SPC) à l'encontre de Monsieur A______ (ci-après l'assuré ou le recourant) ; Vu le recours interjeté le 14 août 2020 par l'assuré ; Vu la réponse du SPC du 14 septembre 2020 ; Attendu que par courrier du 1er octobre 2020, le recourant a indiqué qu' il renonçait à son opposition, et par conséquent, retirait son recours ; Qu'il convient d'en prendre acte et de rayer la cause du rôle.

PAR CES MOTIFS, LA CHAMBRE DES ASSURANCES SOCIALES :

1. Prend acte du retrait du recours.
