Insured Party v. Cantonal Social Insurance Office (Moot Appeal)
Synthèse Legislator
Généré par l'IAAn insured party appealed a cantonal social insurance office's decision granting a three-quarter disability pension effective from July 1, 2008. However, before the court addressed the appeal, the office issued a new decision on June 8, 2009, revoking the initial decision and reopening the case investigation. Citing the legal provision allowing the insurer to reconsider a decision against which an appeal has been filed until the appeal notice is sent to the reviewing authority, the Court took note of the revocation, declared the appeal moot, and ordered the office to pay the appellant's legal costs.
