Appeal Against Suspension of Cantonal Benefits Declared Moot Due to Subsequent Cancellation
Synthèse Legislator
Généré par l'IAThe case involved an appeal by an individual against a decision by the cantonal employment office that suspended their right to cantonal benefits for temporary inability to work for a specific period in August 2004, a decision which was upheld upon objection. The court declared the appeal moot because the employment office, after reexamining the file, issued a subsequent communication canceling both its decision on the objection and the initial suspension decision, leading the court to acknowledge the cancellation and strike the matter from the record as the underlying dispute no longer existed.
