Appeal Regarding Restitution Dismissed as Moot Following Favorable Remittance by OCPA
Synthèse Legislator
Généré par l'IAThe case involved an appeal filed against a decision by the Cantonal Office for the Elderly (OCPA) concerning a request for restitution, where the appellant sought review of the initial decision. During a hearing on November 6, 2007, the parties engaged in discussions, resulting in the OCPA granting a remittance (remise) for the demanded restitution amount of 17,773 francs. Consequently, the Court ruled that since the underlying issue of the restitution demand had been resolved favorably to the appellant by the OCPA on the day of the hearing, the appeal itself had become moot, leading to the court taking note of the new decision and striking the case from the role.
