Asylum Appeal Dismissed: Safe Third Country Rule Upheld
Legislator-Zusammenfassung
KI-generiertThis case involves an appeal against a decision to refuse asylum and order expulsion. The court dismissed the appeal, finding that the applicants' asylum claims were inadmissible because they had traveled through a safe third country before reaching Switzerland. The court reasoned that the applicants did not demonstrate that they faced a real risk of persecution or serious harm in that safe third country, and therefore their asylum applications should not have been processed on their merits in Switzerland. Consequently, the court upheld the prior decision to refuse asylum and ordered the applicants' removal.
