Legislator-Zusammenfassung

The case involves an individual who was denied unemployment benefits by their unemployment insurance fund, which affirmed its denial following an objection. The individual subsequently appealed the decision to the social insurance court of the relevant canton. The court dismissed the appeal, leading the individual to file an administrative court complaint for the entitlement to unemployment compensation. Central to the case were considerations about the individual's status as a former business owner and whether that precluded eligibility for benefits. The court assessed the legality of its jurisdiction based on the location of the individual’s residence at the time of the appeal and the legislative context surrounding claims for unemployment benefits, specifically in relation to individuals with employer-like status.

T.________, 1963, Beschwerdeführer,

gegen

Industrie-Arbeitslosenkasse Winterthur, Eduard-Steiner-Strasse 7, 8400 Winterthur, Beschwerdegegnerin

Vorinstanz

Sozialversicherungsgericht des Kantons Zürich, Winterthur

(Entscheid vom 12. September 2003)

Sachverhalt:

Versicherungsgericht zieht in Erwägung:
