The case involves a challenge to a decision made by the Federal Administrative Court regarding disability insurance claims. An individual residing abroad (the claimant) submitted an appeal against this decision, which was subsequently deemed inadmissible by the Federal Tribunal due to the failure to pay the required advance cost within a stipulated deadline. The Tribunal highlighted that despite the nature of such procedures typically incurring costs, no court fees would be levied in this instance due to specific circumstances surrounding the case.

Sentenza del 22 aprile 2009

II Corte di diritto sociale

Composizione

Giudice federale Borella, in qualità di giudice unico,

cancelliere Grisanti.

Parti

G.________, Italia,

ricorrente, patrocinato dall'avv. Luigi Potenza,

contro

Ufficio AI per gli assicurati residenti all'estero, avenue Edmond-Vaucher 18, 1203 Ginevra,

opponente.

Oggetto

108 cpv. 1 lett. a e cpv.

66 cpv. 1 in fine LTF),

per questi motivi, il Giudice unico pronuncia:

1. Il ricorso è inammissibile.

2. Non si prelevano spese giudiziarie.

3. Comunicazione alle parti, al Tribunale amministrativo federale,

Corte III, e all'Ufficio federale delle assicurazioni sociali.

Lucerna, 22 aprile 2009
