The Swiss Federal Supreme Court struck the case from the record after the appellant withdrew its appeal, thereby upholding the lower court’s decision in favor of the respondents. The dispute concerned an old-age and survivors’ insurance (AHV/AVS) matter, in which the appellant had challenged a judgment of the Vaud Insurance Court issued on 16 October 2008. The withdrawal was processed under the Federal Supreme Court Act, Articles 32(2) and 71, in conjunction with the Federal Act on Civil Procedure, Article 73(1). No judicial costs were imposed, pursuant to Article 66(2) of the LTF.
