The case concerns a legal challenge related to disability insurance, where the appellant filed an appeal against a decision dated October 24, 2008. The appeal was submitted incorrectly to the Federal Tribunal instead of the Federal Administrative Court, and it lacked the necessary annex – the contested decision itself. The Federal Tribunal notified the appellant of this irregularity and provided a deadline to correct it. However, the appellant failed to include the required document by the deadline, leading to the determination that the appeal was inadmissible. Consequently, the Tribunal decided to transmit the appellant's submission to the appropriate administrative court and waived any judicial costs associated with the case.

Considérant en fait et en droit:

que par lettre du 22 décembre 2008 (timbre postal) adressée au Tribunal administratif fédéral mais envoyée à l'adresse du Tribunal fédéral à Lucerne, P.________ a déclaré faire recours contre une décision du 24 octobre 2008;

que par ordonnance du 30 décembre 2008, le Tribunal fédéral a avisé P.________ que la décision attaquée n'était pas jointe à l'écriture de recours et lui a imparti un délai jusqu'au 12 janvier 2009 pour remédier à cette irrégularité en produisant l'annexe requise;
