lo scritto del 29 agosto 2016 (timbro postale) con il quale A.________ ha dichiarato di ritirare il ricorso,

considerando:

che la causa dev'essere stralciata dai ruoli in applicazione dell'art. 32 cpv. 2,

che si rinuncia alla riscossione di spese giudiziarie (art. 66 cpv. 1 seconda frase LTF),

per questi motivi, il Giudice unico decreta :

1. La causa è stralciata dai ruoli a seguito del ritiro del ricorso.

2. Non si prelevano spese giudiziarie.

3. Comunicazione alle parti, al Tribunale delle assicurazioni del Cantone Ticino e all'Ufficio federale della sanità pubblica.
