Legislator-Zusammenfassung

The case involved a complaint about delayed justice concerning an appeal regarding disability insurance. The appellant had been waiting for a decision from the Federal Administrative Court for nearly two and a half years following a submission made in October 2014. Although the court communicated that the proceedings were concluded and a judgment would be issued, there were significant delays, leading the appellant to file a request for expedited resolution. Ultimately, the Federal Tribunal noted that the subject matter of the appeal lost legal interest once the actual judgment was rendered, leading to the process being declared completed without further judicial expenses.

Decreto del 27 aprile 2017

I Corte di diritto sociale

Composizione

Giudice federale Maillard, Presidente,

Cancelliere Bernasconi.

Partecipanti al procedimento

A.________,

ricorrente,

contro

Tribunale amministrativo federale, Corte III, casella postale, 9023 S. Gallo,

opponente.

Oggetto

Assicurazione per l'invalidità (ritardata giustizia),

Visto:

72 PC ),

DTF 125 II 518 consid. 5b pag. 519 seg. con riferimenti),

per questi motivi, il Presidente decreta:

1. La causa, divenuta priva d'oggetto, è stralciata dai ruoli.

2. Non si prelevano spese giudiziarie.

3. Comunicazione alle parti, all'Ufficio AI per gli assicurati residenti all'estero e all'Ufficio federale delle assicurazioni sociali.

Lucerna, 27 aprile 2017
