In this case, an individual filed a defamation complaint against another party, which was initially dismissed by a judge. The dismissal was confirmed by the Cantonal Court's decision, which the complainant acknowledged receiving. Subsequently, the complainant attempted to appeal this decision to the Federal Tribunal, but the appeal was submitted after the deadline for filing had expired. As a result, the Federal Tribunal deemed the appeal inadmissible due to its lateness, and the complainant was ordered to pay reduced court costs.

Faits:

A. X.________ a porté plainte contre A.________ pour diffamation ( art. 173 CP ).
