Legislator-Zusammenfassung
KI-generiertThe case involves an individual who filed a complaint against the decision of the Cantonal Court of St. Gallen, which had denied compensation related to an abandoned criminal proceeding. KI-generiertUsed because the appeal did not meet the requirements of Art. 42 para. 2 BGG, leading to non-admittance under this procedural article.
Cited in the reasoning as the provision whose requirements were not met by the appeal, justifying the non-admittance under Art. 108 BGG.
Although the decision states 'Es werden keine Gerichtskosten erhoben' (No court costs are levied), the relevant procedural article governing costs (Art. 66 al. 1 BGG) is contextually implied for the cost decision, even if the text only states not to levy costs (which is sometimes an alternative application or exclusion of the standard cost rule). Given the context of typical decisions, however, the instruction is to only list articles *explicitly cited*. Since Art. 66 al. 1 BGG is not explicitly named in the formal dispositive orders, it is excluded, and only the implied procedural refusal regarding costs based on 'Ausnahmsweise kann auf eine Kostenauflage verzichtet werden' relates to the second ordering point, which has no explicit legal citation.

Urteil vom 21. Oktober 2013
Strafrechtliche Abteilung
Besetzung
Bundesrichter Schneider, Einzelrichter,
Gerichtsschreiber C. Monn.
Verfahrensbeteiligte
X.________,
Beschwerdeführer,
gegen
Staatsanwaltschaft des Kantons St. Gallen, Untersuchungsamt Uznach , Grynaustrasse 3, 8730 Uznach,
Beschwerdegegnerin.
Gegenstand
