Withdrawal of Appeal in Case Involving Exploitation of Distressed Situation and Health Act Violations
Legislator-Zusammenfassung
KI-generiertWithdrawal of Appeal in Case Involving Exploitation of Distressed Situation and Health Act Violations The situation involved an appellant who filed an appeal against a cantonal court judgment regarding convictions for multiple exploitation of a distressed situation (Art. 193 SCC) and repeated violations of the Cantonal Health Act, claiming a violation of the principle of accusation. The appellant sought to overturn the conviction and subsequent civil claim, and initially requested suspensive effect, which was granted by the court. However, the appellant subsequently withdrew the appeal, leading the Federal Court, through the instructing judge, to dismiss the proceedings as settled in accordance with Article 32(2) BGG. Consequently, the appellant was ordered to pay court costs of CHF 300, as the withdrawal generally renders the party as unsuccessful, and costs were incurred due to the decision on the request for suspensive effect (Art. 66(3) BGG).

Gegenstand
Mehrfache Ausnützung einer Notlage; Widerhandlung gegen das Gesundheitsgesetz; Verletzung des Anklageprinzips; Rückzug
Beschwerde gegen das Urteil des Kantonsgerichts Appenzell I.Rh., Abteilung Zivil- und Strafgericht, vom 16. Januar 2024 (K 6-2023).
Erwägungen:
1. A.________ erhob mit Eingabe vom 17. Oktober 2024 Beschwerde gegen das Urteil des Kantonsgerichts Appenzell Innerrhoden vom 16. Januar 2024.
Art. 71 BGG
i.V.m.
Art. 73 BZP
).
Art. 66 Abs. 1 Satz 1 BGG
2. Dem Beschwerdeführer werden Gerichtskosten von Fr. 300.-- auferlegt.
3. Diese Verfügung wird den Parteien und dem Kantonsgericht Appenzell I.Rh., Abteilung Zivil- und Strafgericht, schriftlich mitgeteilt.
