Federal Appeal Inadmissible Due to Failure to Address Formal Ground of Cantonal Decision
Legislator-Zusammenfassung
KI-generiertThe case concerns an appellant who failed to submit a timely appeal registration to the previous court, which resulted in the court not admitting the appeal. The appellant, contesting the issue at the Swiss Federal Tribunal, focused solely on the substantive matters of the case, claiming that the conviction was not clearly proven and sought to introduce a witness, a message history, and initiate legal action for false testimony. However, the appellant did not address the formal reason for the non-admission of his appeal by the lower court. Consequently, his complaint failed to meet the Federal Tribunal's reasoning requirements, leading to the decision not to proceed with the case.

Urteil vom 20. September 2024
I. strafrechtliche Abteilung
Besetzung
Bundesrichterin Jacquemoud-Rossari, Präsidentin,
Gerichtsschreiberin Arquint Hill.
Verfahrensbeteiligte
A.________,
Beschwerdeführer,
gegen
Oberstaatsanwaltschaft des Kantons Solothurn, Franziskanerhof,
Barfüssergasse 28, Postfach 157, 4502 Solothurn,
Beschwerdegegnerin.
Gegenstand
Keine Berufungsanmeldung eingereicht
(SVG-Widerhandlungen); Nichteintreten,
