A.________,

Ministero pubblico del Cantone Ticino, Palazzo di giustizia, via Pretorio 16, 6901 Lugano,

Oggetto
Istanza di rettifica,
ricorso contro la sentenza emanata il 4 ottobre 2019 dalla Corte di appello e di revisione penale del
Cantone Ticino (incarto n. 17.2019.167).
Considerando:
che, con sentenza del 4 ottobre 2019, la Corte di appello e di revisione penale ha respinto un'istanza di rettifica di A.________ di una decisione del 16 maggio 2019 di detta Corte cantonale;
che, avverso questo giudizio, A.________ presenta un ricorso al Tribunale federale;
che con decreto presidenziale del 13 novembre 2019 il ricorrente è stato invitato a fornire, entro il 28 novembre seguente, un anticipo delle spese giudiziarie presunte di fr. 800.-- ( art. 62 cpv. 1 LTF );
che, scaduto infruttuoso detto termine, con ulteriore decreto presidenziale del 5 dicembre 2019 al ricorrente è stato fissato un termine suppletorio non prorogabile, scadente il 7 gennaio 2020, per versare l'anticipo richiesto, con l'avvertenza che in caso di mancato pagamento il ricorso sarebbe stato dichiarato inammissibile ( art. 62 cpv. 3 LTF );
che il ricorrente non ha versato l'anticipo richiesto, né ha inoltrato alla Cassa del Tribunale federale un'attestazione di Postfinance o della banca che certifichi l'avvenuto addebito;
che, pertanto, come espressamente indicato nel secondo decreto presidenziale, il ricorso dev'essere dichiarato inammissibile ( art. 62 cpv. 3 LTF );
che in tali circostanze, la questione della capacità processuale del ricorrente al momento in cui ha adito il Tribunale federale può essere lasciata aperta (cfr. sentenza 5A_854/2019 del 12 dicembre 2019 consid. 6);
che le spese inutili sono messe a carico di chi le causa ( art. 66 cpv. 3 LTF );
richiamato l' art. 108 cpv. 1 lett. a LTF ;
per questi motivi, il Presidente pronuncia:
1. Il ricorso è inammissibile.
2. Le spese giudiziarie di fr. 500.-- sono poste a carico del ricorrente.
3. Comunicazione alle parti e alla Corte di appello e di revisione penale del Cantone Ticino.
