In this case, an individual filed a criminal complaint against another for defamation. The competent investigating judge declined to proceed with the complaint, a decision upheld by the Tribunal d'accusation of the canton of Vaud. The complainant subsequently appealed to the Federal Tribunal, contesting the earlier court's ruling. However, the court determined that the complainant did not meet the legal definition of a victim under applicable law, rendering the appeal inadmissible due to the lack of standing to challenge the accused's actions on those grounds. As a result, the court dismissed the appeal and imposed judicial costs on the complainant.

Arrêt du 21 décembre 2009

Cour de droit pénal

Composition

M. le Juge Favre, Président.

Greffier: M. Oulevey.

Parties

X.________,

recourant,

contre

Ministère public du canton de Vaud, 1014 Lausanne,

intimé.

Objet

Faits:
