que, par courrier du 7 novembre 2018, X.________ a déclaré retirer le recours en matière pénale qu'il avait formé au Tribunal fédéral contre le jugement rendu le 18 juillet 2018 par la Cour d'appel pénale du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud dans la cause PE17.024956-PBR,

qu'il sied d'en prendre acte et de rayer la cause du rôle ( art. 32 al. 2 LTF ), sans frais.

Par ces motifs, le Président ordonne :

1. La cause est rayée du rôle.

2. Il n'est pas perçu de frais judiciaires.

3. La présente ordonnance est communiquée aux parties et à la Cour d'appel pénale du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud.
