The case revolves around an appeal concerning the responsibility for the actions of a guardian, initiated by one party against another. The initial decision was issued by the Public Law Court of a specific canton in October 2010. Subsequently, the appellant filed a civil appeal in November 2010, which included a request for legal assistance. However, in November 2011, the appellant withdrew the appeal, leading the court to record this withdrawal and remove the case from its docket. The court also indicated that since the appeal was withdrawn before any substantive action was taken by the judge, no legal assistance would be granted, and the appellant would be responsible for the judicial costs incurred.
