Spouses v. Appellate Decision on Justice Recusal and Case Referral
Legislator-Zusammenfassung
KI-generiertIn this case, a couple filed a motion for the recusal of a judge involved in civil proceedings regarding the individual's legal incapacitation, deprivation of liberty for assistance purposes, and limitations on parental authority. The contested decision from the cantonal administrative court accepted the voluntary recusal of the first judge and assigned the case to a second judge. The couple's appeal was found to be inadmissible due to lack of legal interest concerning the first judge, and the court noted deficiencies in the motivation for the appeal pertaining to the second judge's involvement. Consequently, the appeal was not considered, with the couple responsible for the judicial costs incurred.
