dalla Camera di esecuzione e fallimenti del Tribunale d'appello del Cantone Ticino.
Considerando:
che B.________ ha interposto reclamo contro la decisione emanata il 29 aprile 2016 dalla Pretura del Distretto di Lugano nella causa di rigetto definitivo dell'opposizione che lo oppone ad A.________;
che con decreto 13 maggio 2016 la Camera di esecuzione e fallimenti del Tribunale d'appello del Cantone Ticino ha concesso effetto sospensivo al reclamo;
che con ricorso in materia civile e sussidiario in materia costituzionale 16 giugno 2016 A.________ ha impugnato tale decreto dinanzi al Tribunale federale;
che con scritto 11 luglio 2016 il ricorrente ha dichiarato di ritirare il suo rimedio, chiedendo di rinunciare al prelievo di spese giudiziarie;
che la Giudice presidente, competente in virtù dell' art. 32 cpv. 2 LTF , non può far altro che prendere atto del ritiro del ricorso e disporre lo stralcio della causa dai ruoli ( art. 71 LTF in relazione con l' art. 73 PC );
che le spese giudiziarie, ridotte in applicazione dell' art. 66 cpv. 2 LTF , vanno poste a carico della parte desistente, ossia del ricorrente ( art. 66 cpv. 1 LTF ; art. 71 LTF in relazione con l' art. 5 cpv. 2 PC ; v. decreto 5A_363/2015 del 28 maggio 2015);
per questi motivi, la Giudice presidente decreta:
1. La causa è stralciata dai ruoli a seguito del ritiro del ricorso.
2. Le spese giudiziarie di fr. 300.-- sono poste a carico del ricorrente.
3. Comunicazione ai patrocinatori delle parti e alla Camera di esecuzione e fallimenti del Tribunale d'appello del Cantone Ticino.
