The case involves a legal dispute regarding the withdrawal of an appeal related to the rectification of a land register, initially filed by one party against another. After the appellant withdrew their appeal following the rejection of their request for legal aid, the court noted that the appeal procedure was consequently concluded. However, it specified that court costs would still be imposed on the withdrawing party. The matter had previously been decided by the Court of Appeals of the relevant canton, and the withdrawal led to the writing off of the case by the federal court.
