Appellant v. Cantonal Court (Impartiality Challenge)
Legislator-Zusammenfassung
KI-generiertIn this case, an individual sought to recuse a presiding judge and another judge involved in a probate matter concerning an inheritance. The administrative court of the canton of Vaud rejected this request for recusal on February 13, 2009. The individual appealed to the Swiss Federal Tribunal, asserting doubts regarding the impartiality of the judges and not providing substantial arguments against the earlier court's reasoning. The Federal Tribunal found the appeal insufficiently motivated and declared it inadmissible, with the costs of the proceedings assigned to the appellant.

Arrêt du 3 avril 2009
IIe Cour de droit civil
Composition
Mme la Juge Hohl, Présidente.
Greffière: Mme Aguet.
Parties
X.________,
recourant,
contre
Cour administrative du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud.
Objet
récusation (partage successoral),
recours contre l'arrêt de la Cour administrative du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud du 13 février 2009.
considérant:
que, par arrêt du 13 février 2009, la Cour administrative du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud a débouté X.________ des fins de sa requête tendant à la récusation de A.________, Président au Tribunal d'arrondissement de La Broye et du Nord vaudois;
que l'intéressé interjette un recours au Tribunal fédéral à l'encontre de cette décision, dans lequel il se borne à déclarer qu'il a "de forts doutes quant à l'impartialité du juge A.________ & du juge B.________ et du Notaire C.________";
que le recours ne comporte pas la moindre critique des motifs de la juridiction précédente, de sorte que l'argumentation est manifestement insuffisante au regard des exigences légales de motivation (art. 42 al. 2 et 106 al. 2 LTF; ATF 133 IV 286 consid. 1.4 p. 287);
que, dès lors, le recours doit être déclaré irrecevable ( art. 108 al. 1 let. b LTF ), aux frais de son auteur ( art. 66 al. 1 LTF );
que le présent arrêt relève de la compétence du juge unique ( art. 108 al. 1 LTF );
par ces motifs, la Présidente prononce:
1. Le recours est irrecevable.
2. Les frais judiciaires, arrêtés à 1'000 fr., sont mis à la charge du recourant.
3. Le présent arrêt est communiqué au recourant et à la Cour administrative du Tribunal cantonal du canton de Vaud.
