The case involves a former employee who was terminated by his employer after working there for over two decades. Following his dismissal, he pursued legal action against the employer, seeking compensation for wrongful termination and for unpaid vacation days. The initial ruling by a lower court awarded him a partial amount for vacation pay, but upon appeal, a higher court reversed this decision and dismissed his claims entirely. The former employee subsequently filed a constitutional appeal to contest the appellate court's decision, asserting that it violated his rights; however, his arguments focused on his interpretations of applicable laws rather than specific constitutional violations.

Arrêt du 12 août 2009

Ire Cour de droit civil

Composition

Parties

A.________,

demandeur et recourant, représenté par

Me Jean-Claude Morisod,

contre

X.________ SA,

défenderesse et intimée, représentée par

Me Dominique Morard.

Objet

106 al. 2 et 117 LTF ; ATF 134 I 83 consid. 3.2 p. 88; 134 II 244 consid. 2.2 p. 246; 133 III 439 consid.
