ricorso contro la sentenza emanata 16 novembre 2020 dalla II Camera civile del Tribunale d'appello del

Cantone Ticino (12.2020.19).

Considerando:

che con decisione 7 gennaio 2020 il Pretore aggiunto del distretto di Bellinzona ha respinto l'eccezione di carenza di legittimazione attiva sollevata da A.________ e B.________ nei confronti della C.________ Sagl;

che la II Camera civile del Tribunale di appello del Cantone Ticino ha respinto, con sentenza 16 novembre 2020, l'appello presentato da A.________ e B.________;

che quest'ultimi sono insorti al Tribunale federale con ricorso 17 dicembre 2020;

che non è stato ordinato uno scambio di scritti;

che con lettera 15 gennaio 2021 i ricorrenti hanno dichiarato di ritirare il ricorso;

che giusta l' art. 32 cpv. 1 LTF il presidente della Corte dirige il procedimento quale giudice dell'istruzione fino alla pronuncia della sentenza e che in virtù dell' art. 32 cpv. 2 LTF il giudice dell'istruzione decide quale giudice unico lo stralcio dal ruolo delle cause ritirate;

che le spese giudiziarie, comprendenti una tassa di giustizia ridotta ( art. 65 cpv. 2 LTF ), seguono la soccombenza e vanno pertanto poste a carico dei ricorrenti ( art. 66 cpv. 1 LTF );

per questi motivi, la Presidente decreta:

1. La causa è stralciata dai ruoli a seguito del ritiro del ricorso.

2. Le spese giudiziarie di fr. 200.-- sono poste a carico dei ricorrenti.

3. Comunicazione ai patrocinatori delle parti e alla II Camera civile del Tribunale d'appello del Cantone Ticino.
