Oggetto
espulsione,
ricorso contro la sentenza emanata il 4 luglio 2024
dalla II Camera civile del Tribunale d'appello del
Cantone Ticino (12.2024.78).
Considerando:
che il Pretore della giurisdizione di Mendrisio-Sud ha accolto, con giudizio del 14 giugno 2024, la domanda di espulsione inoltrata da B.________ nei confronti di A.________;
che con sentenza 4 luglio 2024 la II Camera civile del Tribunale di appello del Cantone Ticino ha dichiarato irricevibile un appello presentato da A.________;
che quest'ultima è insorta al Tribunale federale con ricorso 5 agosto 2024;
che con decreto 15 agosto 2024 la ricorrente è invano stata invitata a versare entro il 30 agosto 2024 un anticipo per le spese presunte del processo di fr. 500.--;
che il 4 settembre 2024 è stato impartito alla ricorrente il termine suppletorio dell' art. 62 cpv. 3 LTF per effettuare il predetto versamento entro il 19 settembre 2024 con l'indicazione delle conseguenze di un mancato tempestivo pagamento;
che il 5 settembre 2024 la ricorrente è stata invitata senza esito a ritirare quest'ultimo decreto, inviato quale atto giudiziario da recapitare dietro firma, presso l'ufficio postale;
che in virtù dell' art. 44 cpv. 2 LTF la notificazione di tale decreto, ritornato al Tribunale federale siccome non ritirato, è reputata avvenuta il settimo giorno dopo il primo tentativo di consegna infruttuoso;
che il 3 ottobre 2024 la Cassa del Tribunale federale ha constatato che il richiesto anticipo non è stato pagato né accreditato sul suo conto postale e che non le è pervenuto alcun avviso di addebito di un conto bancario o postale;
che in queste circostanze il Tribunale federale non può entrare nel merito del ricorso (art. 48 cpv. 4 e 62 cpv. 3 LTF);
che, come indicato nei predetti decreti, un eventuale ritiro del ricorso doveva essere dichiarato per iscritto, il mancato pagamento del richiesto anticipo non supplendo a una tale dichiarazione;
che il ricorso, manifestamente inammissibile, va deciso dalla Presidente della Corte adita nella procedura semplificata ( art. 108 cpv. 1 lett. a LTF );
che le spese giudiziarie seguono la soccombenza ( art. 66 cpv. 1 LTF );
per questi motivi, la Presidente pronuncia:
1. Il ricorso è inammissibile.
2. Le spese giudiziarie di fr. 300.-- sono poste a carico della ricorrente.
3. Comunicazione alle parti e alla II Camera civile del Tribunale d'appello del Cantone Ticino.
