ricorso contro la sentenza emanata il 24 luglio 2015

dal Vicepresidente della II Camera civile del Tribunale

di appello del Cantone Ticino.

Considerando:

che il 27 maggio 2015 il Pretore del distretto di Lugano ha, in accoglimento dell'istanza presentata da C.________ e D.________, ordinato l'espulsione di A.________ e B.________ da uno specificato appartamento a Lugano;

che con decisione 24 luglio 2015 il vicepresidente della II Camera civile del Tribunale di appello del Cantone Ticino ha dichiarato irricevibile l'appello di A.________ e B.________;

che quest'ultimi hanno impugnato tale decisione al Tribunale federale con scritto del 3 agosto 2015;

che con decreto 6 agosto 2015 i ricorrenti sono stati invano invitati a versare entro il 31 agosto 2015 un anticipo per le spese presunte del processo di fr. 500.--;

che il 4 settembre 2015 è stato impartito ai ricorrenti il termine suppletorio dell' art. 62 cpv. 3 LTF per effettuare il predetto pagamento entro il 21 settembre 2015;

che il 30 settembre 2015 la Cassa del Tribunale federale ha constatato che il richiesto anticipo non è stato pagato né accreditato sul suo conto postale e che non le è pervenuto alcun avviso di addebito di un conto bancario o postale;

che in queste circostanze il Tribunale federale non può entrare nel merito del ricorso (art. 48 cpv. 4 e 62 cpv. 3 LTF);

che pertanto il ricorso si rivela manifestamente inammissibile e va deciso dalla Presidente della Corte adita nella procedura semplificata ( art. 108 cpv. 1 lett. a LTF );

che le spese giudiziarie seguono la soccombenza ( art. 66 cpv. 1 LTF );

per questi motivi, la Presidente pronuncia:

1. Il ricorso è inammissibile.

2. Le spese giudiziarie di fr. 200.-- sono poste a carico dei ricorrenti.

3. Comunicazione alle parti e al Vicepresidente della II Camera civile del Tribunale di appello del Cantone Ticino.
